As Luoyang is known as the "Peony City," Kaifeng is known as the "Chrysanthemum City." The people of Kaifeng have cultivated and appreciated the chrysanthemum for over 1,600 years, preserving ancient varieties as part of its cultural heritage. During the festival, the city is decorated with pots of chrysanthemums, integrating traditional and modern design features. The tallest structure stands at 4.16meters, containing more than 6000 blooms which resemble a chrysanthemum tree.
Zhengzhou International Shaolin Martial Arts Festival Oct 22 - 26
